Salty language ahead, be prepared to divert thine eyes.
So Lori and I went to see Keb Mo on Thursday. Upon entry we were immediately miffed when we were told "no pictures" and that Lori's camera would be confiscated. As you have probably have seen from Lori's sitethat we've been to numerous concert at Meijer Gardens and Lori has snapped some fantastic photos of Buddy Guy, Natalie MacMaster among others.
The show was mostly good (in keeping with my policy of full disclosure, I should note that I still would have preferred seeing John Prine). Though the photography restrictions put something of a damper on the evening. As we pulled into our driveway, I exclaimed: "Keb Mo's a pussy!"
Lori was appalled at my language. "Where did you hear such language?!?
"On TV," I muttered meekly.
"Where On TV?!"
"The Daily Show. I said.
She thinks that Jon Stewart has been a bad influence on me. I guess his mother can expect a call. No Comedy Central for a week.
