There can be no good outcome in the Terri Schiavo case. So, I'm not going to bother debating the merits of removing, or reconnecting the feeding tube. However, given that the charge to keep her alive is led by the likes of Bill Frist, Tom Delay and President Bush, I do find it ironic that Ms. Schiavo's life has been sustained for the past 14 or so years by Medicaid ( a program that Frist et al would like to cut), and her family's award in a medical malpractice lawsuit (where Bush is seeking severe limitation of settlements).
