Did that really happen?
For some time, I've resisted watching anything relating to Fox Entertainment, mostly in personal protest to the likes of Billy O. and Sean and their neoconservative support of the Iraq invasion and, and their responding to every point of contention with "What about 9/11?" of course, Fox's endless stream of mind-numbing "reality" TV. I never watched much on Fox, but about a year ago I gave up the Simpsons.
Tuesdy, I tuned into the All Star Game on Fox. Before the game, the Fox Baseball 'B' team asked broadcasting legend Ernie Harwell what it was like to have guy like Al Kaline play for the Tigers; then they CUT HIM OFF in about his 5th word. All to make way for a TAPE featuring Smokey Robinson in (dyed dreads) making a bad pun.
Mr. Murdoch, you and I are through.
