In high school, my friends and I normally could be found in one of the following places: the weight room, on a basketball court, in the Burger King parking lot (talking about weight lifting and basketball), and the mall. We made the trek to Altamonte Springs about two or three times a week.
I still like to lift weights, and if I every played basketball anymore, I know I'd like that. However, I've pretty much loathed Burger King and malls ever since.
Though last night, we ventured to what I refer to as the newer old mall in Kentwood, a few spits from our house. We dined at Olgas, where Devin alternately giggled or grimaced depending on if he was eating a piece of fried chicken, or a lemon wedge.
While we were in "Mom Stores" Devin and ran laps around chemise displays and then we picked out Gator sweatshirts for Devin and me. Later, I displayed my magical daddy powers whereby a mere snap of my fingers I was able toggle the images in an add display case between a haggard old scuba dive peddling retirement funds and promo for a day spa. "It's going to change............nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnow."
Then we walked the perimeter of holiday village, where we ignored Santa's waves and did pullups on the red velvet ropes.
I like malls.
